Membership

Eligibility

If you’re a New Zealand lawyer, have a current practising certificate and act as an in-house lawyer for a corporation, government department or other organisation, then you qualify as a member. Congratulations! But to get the most value from your membership, let us know who you are. We can then more effectively stay in touch with you. The level of your contribution to CLANZ, and what you get from CLANZ, is entirely up to you. We encourage you to get involved.

Types of membership and benefits

CLANZ offers two types of membership:

  • Ordinary membership: no charge
  • Premium membership: $150+GST per year

The benefits of premium membership can be seen in the table below. In-house counsel are encouraged to sign up for premium membership, as the more premium members there are, the better the service is likely to get.
